Job Summary
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Geriatrician to join a network of federally qualified community health centers located in the Bronx, New York. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your medical expertise to provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Geriatrician who can examine patients, analyze records and reports, and prescribe treatment to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to explain complex medical information to patients, and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities
This full-time position involves conducting exams, analyzing records, prescribing treatment, explaining test results to patients, collecting and recording patient information, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for attending regular medical staff meetings, participating in education sessions, and maintaining admitting privileges to affiliated hospitals.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program. A Fellowship in Geriatrics is also required, as well as a valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLS. Preference will be given to candidates with a passion for community healthcare and experience working in similar settings.

Benefits
This attractive offer includes a competitive salary ranging from $235,000 to $260,000 per year, depending on experience.
