Our client, a forward-thinking organization, is seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the migration of infrastructure and applications to the cloud. This role requires expertise in helpdesk, server support, infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with On-Prem/Cloud - Physical/Virtual and Hybrid systems and servers, as well as Azure and Microsoft 365. Key responsibilities include managing and supporting VMWare environments, supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory, and coordinating vendor contracts for systems and services. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of networks, switches, routing, firewalls, and access control lists. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Microsoft, Network, and Security related certifications are preferred. Benefits include competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K match, HSA contribution, and a competitive PTO plan. The salary range is $72,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support VMWare environments of virtual servers with Microsoft Server OS and Linux-based server OS.
- Support Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory and cloud systems.
- Coordinate and manage vendors and contracts for systems and services.
- Manage licensing for all systems, devices, and solutions.
- Support on-premise and cloud networks, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN, Firewall, WAF, and access control lists.
Desired Skillsets:
- Experience with On-Prem/Cloud - Physical/Virtual and Hybrid systems and servers.
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Advanced understanding of networks, switches, routing, firewalls, and access control lists.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in a related IT field, or a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related discipline plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Microsoft, Network, and Security related certifications preferred.
