Key Highlights of the Position:
- Collaborate with a team comprising one Neurologist and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Be part of a recognized Primary Stroke Center.
- Join a facility that has received the 2020 "Get with the Guidelines" - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award.
- Engage in inpatient rounding during the morning and manage outpatient clinic responsibilities in the afternoon.
- Work alongside residents and students, ensuring a rich educational experience.
- Participate in neurology rotations for Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry residents, as well as medical students.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Contribute to ACGME accredited Internal Medicine and Family Medicine programs.
- Receive an Adjunct Clinical Faculty position from a prestigious university.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a strong commitment to resident education and development.
- Foster an educational environment that aligns with ACGME competency areas.
- Guide residents in educational goal-setting, career planning, patient care, and scholarly activities.
- Practice clinical neurology in both hospital and outpatient settings as required.
- Uphold professional standards and ethical behavior.
- Deliver lectures and facilitate didactic sessions as designated by the Program Director.
- Oversee residents' patient care activities and provide constructive feedback on their performance.
- Conduct end-of-rotation evaluations and participate in the resident selection process.
- Attend residency program meetings as required.
- Engage in faculty development initiatives.
