Pharmacy Graduate Intern

Walgreens is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Graduate Intern to join our team. As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment while working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers to promote a positive pharmacy experience.
- Assist with prescription dispensing, including compounding, verification, and medication management.
- Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Assist with staff hiring and training, and provide constructive feedback to promote employee development.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited University outside the United States.
- Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC).
- Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy, if required.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 45 days of completion of intern hours.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
