We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Adult Oncology Infusion Center at UNC Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex problems, including those undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assess and anticipate discharge needs of patients and families, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in oncology nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in patient care.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- One year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
