Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and document company standards to streamline production procedures.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes, designing metrics to measure quality, throughput, and on-time performance.
  • Review customer specifications to guide Quality, Sales, and plant personnel.
  • Analyze and present production data to inform operational decisions.
  • Estimate labor requirements, production times, and costs to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production to ensure effective production methods.
  • Investigate and resolve rejected materials issues.
  • Apply lean six sigma problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Self-starter attitude, eager to learn and develop professionally.
  • Experience writing work instructions and performing root cause analysis.
  • Metallurgical experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
