Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at St. Mark's Hospital. As a Float Pool Resource RN, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our nursing units, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Float Pool to fill in for ill calls and times of high census or to cover for LOA's.
  • Float to all nursing units where competencies have been completed.
  • Evaluate and document each patient's response to medication, interventions, and procedures.
  • Formulate and coordinate individualized patient's plan of care based on assessment of patient's needs.
  • Maintain patient safety during all aspects of nursing intervention and documents safety measures in patient's medical record.
Requirements
  • Current State of Utah Registered Nurse license or RN Compact license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • Any other certification/training required by the department in which employee is floating.
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Must have the sensitivity, maturity and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • At least one-year medical/surgical acute care hospital experience required.
