We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, triaging, and implementing care plans in accordance with physician instructions.
- Work effectively in a team environment to deliver comprehensive care to patients in a variety of situations.
- Perform minor medical procedures, such as wound cleaning and dressing, and administer IV therapy as needed.
- Document patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being, and provide support and guidance to patients and their families as needed.
- Current RN licensure in the United States.
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in an emergency room setting.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
