We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Aide to join our team at Hudson City School District. As a Special Education Aide, you will provide support to students with special needs, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including those with physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
  • Assist teachers in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Help students with daily living skills, such as using the bathroom, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with classroom management and organization.
  • Communicate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working on a substitute basis. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work in a variety of settings.
