About the Job

Smith-Boughan, Inc., a leading mechanical contractor in West Central Ohio, is seeking a skilled commercial plumber to join our team. As a commercial plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Commercial Plumbing Systems: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in a commercial environment.
  • Read and Follow Blueprints and Plans: Read and follow blueprints and plans to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate with General Contractors and Other Trades: Collaborate with general contractors and other trades and construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Commercial Plumbing: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing, with a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and common safety practices.
  • Associates Degree or Equivalent Field Experience: Associates degree or equivalent field experience in plumbing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Building Codes and Safety Regulations: Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and common safety practices.
  • Ability to Read and Follow Blueprints and Rough Drawings: Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Plan Pipe Systems and Related Equipment Installations: Plan pipe systems and related equipment installations to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Heating and Cooling Hydronic Piping Installation: Proficient in heating and cooling hydronic piping installation.
  • Proficient with Victaulic, Pro Press, and Sweat End Connections: Proficient with victaulic, pro press, and sweat end connections.
  • Repair and Maintenance of Pipe Systems, Supports, and Related Equipment: Repair and maintenance of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
  • Basic Mathematics and Measurement Conversion: Proficient in basic mathematics and measurement conversion.
