Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the parish and school buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role will work collaboratively with custodians, subcontractors, and the Building and Site Committee to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with custodians and subcontractors to complete maintenance projects
  • Develop and implement a maintenance schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of building maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
