Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a key member of our front office, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, handling arrivals and departures, and promoting our hotel's brand marketing programs.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  2. Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from our computer system.
  3. Promote our hotel's brand marketing programs and make appropriate selections of rooms based on guest needs.
  4. Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods.
  5. Handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank.
  6. Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication.
  7. Input messages into the computer and retrieve messages to communicate with guests.
  8. Close guest accounts at time of check-out and ascertain satisfaction.
  9. Field guest complaints and negotiate effective solutions.
Qualifications

We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a high school diploma or equivalent. Hotel experience is preferred, but not required. You'll need to be able to effectively deal with internal and external customers, stand and move throughout the front office, and access and accurately input information using our computer system.
