Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete patient accounts based on departmental protocol, policies, and procedures, and compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are processed in accordance with Duke University's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient account discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare financial services or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
