Fellowship Square, Christian Care Management, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Activities Assistant to join our team. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in coordinating and executing in-house and off-campus activities, events, and community excursions.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the execution, physical set-up, and staffing of in-house events and classes.
- Staff off-site resident excursions in the community.
- Assist with resident reservations and activity sign-up records.
- Disseminate activity schedules to residents, including monthly event postings and newsletters.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm attitude when visiting with staff and residents.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure resident rights are protected.
- Must be able to physically set up and take down events (e.g. chairs, tables, etc.).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work some weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Able to make independent decisions when in various circumstances.
- Must possess good communication and people skills.
- Office and administrative skills a must.
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher.
- Experience working with seniors a plus.
- Able to take and follow written and oral instructions.
- Team player.
- Hard worker.
- Must be compassionate, patient and kind with a bubbly personality.
- Loves having fun.
