Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team at USVTA. As a passionate advocate for veterinary medicine, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and building strong relationships with our clients.
Our practice takes a team approach to veterinary medicine, ensuring a 2:1 Tech / Veterinarian ratio to guarantee the highest level of care. We are committed to creating a Fear-free environment for our patients and provide training for all our Team members to ensure a seamless experience.

Essential Responsibilities & Functions:- Provide patients with a high level of veterinary care, utilizing the latest advances in diagnostics.
- Develop a client service mindset, building and retaining a strong client base.
- Enthusiastically participate in community outreach and build relationships with local partners.
- Champion the practice's objectives and values, inspiring others to do the same.
- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure seamless hospital operations.
- Efficiently manage caseloads and maintain accurate records using SOAP templates.
- Promote a collaborative working environment and encourage teamwork.
- Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure timely care.
- Educate clients on preventive care, including vaccinations, heartworm treatments, and flea and tick treatments.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
