Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at Onsite Women's Health.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specialize in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Move mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques and follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
  • Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order at all times.
  • Perform all required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State requirements.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and process routine paperwork and data entry.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • ARRT certification.
