About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Southcoast Health System. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic care and personal hygiene support to patients, including mobility and nutritional assistance.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
  • Coordinate patient-focused support activities, including ancillary services and equipment/supply requests.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure efficient and effective completion of daily activities.
Requirements
  • Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of the computer system and related secretarial experience.
  • Over three months of related work experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons.
