Weekend Rotation Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a part-time pharmacist to join our team at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Willmar, MN. As a Weekend Rotation Pharmacist, you will work every 3rd weekend, providing excellent patient care and service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with patients and customers.
  • Champion Thrifty White programs, such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate our team to deliver high-quality patient service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Structure and organize workflow to ensure efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services.
  • Develop and follow up on long-term care business opportunities through immediate communication and attention to the needs of nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for Long Term Care and Specialty business with Marketers.
  • Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.
Requirements:
  • A pharmacy license or the ability to receive one without federal sanctions.
  • A PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
  • Current Immunization Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • NPI Number.
