We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Electronics Engineer to join our project team in San Diego, CA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, assembling, and testing electro-optical-mechanical systems. This junior-level position requires the candidate to have expertise in soldering (assembly and rework) SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components on printed circuit boards, including all types of fine-pitch integrated circuits and passive components to 0402 size.

The estimated salary for this position is $71,400.00 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, assemble, and test electro-optical-mechanical systems.
  • Conduct incoming material receiving inspections for circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and wire harnesses.
  • Recommend alternative solutions to problems and challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement new designs.
  • Provide field service support on an as-needed basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in soldering (assembly and rework) SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components on printed circuit boards.
  • Secret Clearance.
