Vehicle Repair Specialist

Job Summary:
The Automotive Technician is a key member of our team at Hertz, responsible for performing vehicle repairs with oversight. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle repairs, including diagnostic and repair work, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Use shop equipment, such as lifts, scan tools, and alignment machines, to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Follow all company service and safety procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of work performed, including repair orders and maintenance records.
Requirements:
- Three years of professional automotive repair experience, preferably in a fast-paced repair shop environment.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools, as well as stand for long periods of time.
