Overview

As a Distribution Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive their products promptly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for delivering beverages to various establishments across the state, maintaining meticulous vehicle records, and upholding the highest safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Transport beverage products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other client locations throughout the state.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your assigned vehicle, ensuring its optimal condition.
  • Process payments for delivered goods and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Organize merchandise according to invoices to ensure efficient delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations and operate the delivery vehicle safely and courteously at all times.
  • Submit daily reports, including Department of Transportation logbooks and driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs), to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company uniform standards.
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work and report any incidents promptly to the dispatcher.
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel consumption.
  • Securely load and unload cargo, utilizing appropriate safety equipment and adhering to industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • One year of verifiable experience as a commercial driver.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) certification.
  • Hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Physical Demands

This role requires significant physical exertion, including prolonged periods of walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping. You may be required to lift or lower objects weighing up to 56 pounds. The position demands flexibility with work hours, which may include overnight shifts, early mornings, and late evenings.
