We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Nurse to join our team at ECHN. As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Medical Office, you will provide direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients, assist with patient care coordination, and serve as a primary liaison between providers and physicians.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer prescribed medications, vaccinations, and treatments
- Aid physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients
- Observe, report, and record patients' conditions and reactions to meds and treatments
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, and maintaining health and wellness
- Respond to and/or anticipate emergency situations
- Document all sample medication dispensed in the medical record
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and report to Office Coordinator/Practice Manager for reorder
- Respond to incoming patient treatment-related phone calls
- Participate in Patient Centered Medical Home Care Team collaborations
