Job Description

An employer based in the United States is looking for a Technology Alignment Manager to join their growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) organization. This person will be responsible for helping existing and new clients optimize their technology environments; they will help align these clients with the company's best practices, driving technology strategies, and supporting the ongoing health and functionality of client infrastructure.

This role will include a variety of functions, but primarily will be conducting regular technology alignment reviews for clients, assessing systems, security, and compliance with best practices, and help develop technology strategies and recommendations based on findings from assessments.

This role is for a small Managed Service Provider and will include a mix of remote work, traveling to client sites, and in-office presence. This role is posted at a base salary of $80-90k/yr based on tenure and skill level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular technology alignment reviews for clients
  • Assess systems, security, and compliance with best practices
  • Develop technology strategies and recommendations based on findings from assessments
  • Support the ongoing health and functionality of client infrastructure

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a Managed Service Provider environment
  • Experience performing technology assessments for clients
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructures and security best practices
  • Experience with documentation platforms for tracking and reporting
  • Understanding of firewalls, networking equipment, and system security management
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
