As a key member of our team at Learning Care Group, you'll play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners. Our schools are designed to foster a sense of community and collaboration, where every individual can thrive and grow.

The Assistant Director is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of the school, working closely with the School Director to achieve our safety vision of "No One Gets Hurt." In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director takes sole responsibility for the school's operation. This role involves promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in our care, as well as assisting with administrative tasks and opening/closing the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the school, ensuring compliance with company and state licensing standards.
  • Ensure a safe, educational, and caring environment for children and parents.
  • Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day.
  • Promote the positive image of Learning Care Group and contribute to our reputation as a provider of choice in educational programs.
  • Recruit, select, and retain high-quality staff.
  • Contribute to the achievement of profitability for the company.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have previous management experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed child care facility.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
