Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Structures Engineer to join our Hot Section Engineering (HSE) Structures Engineering group at our Tinker AFB Oklahoma City location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structures evaluations using PW Engineering Standard Work (ESW).
  • Work within a team environment with MROE, Design, Project and Durability Engineers.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop solutions to problems slowing the rebuild process.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience or 3+ years with an advance degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Combustor, Diffuser, Turbine hardware.
  • Experience in structural integrity related analysis and risk assessment techniques for gas turbine engines.
  • Working knowledge of gas turbine hardware structural analysis techniques using Ansys Classic and Ansys Workbench.
  • Experience with performing mission lifing and evaluating handling damage.
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills and the ability to function across a wide range of disciplines and management levels.
