Medical-Surgical Nursing Opportunity at Atrium Health Navicent

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in Macon, Georgia, providing exceptional patient care as a medical-surgical nursing specialist.

About the Role:

This is an ongoing staff nursing position on 8 Main, a medical-surgical nursing floor with telemetry monitoring. The patient population is diverse, offering a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and evaluating patients served, ensuring quality care and patient safety.
  • As an active participant in decisions related to patient care and nursing practice, you will serve as an educator, colleague, researcher, advocate, and leader.

The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in process improvement, collaboration, consultation, and professional development, assuming responsibility for planning, organizing, delegating, and evaluating patient care rendered by LPNs, technicians, and other staff.

Requirements:
  • A degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A current valid GA nursing license or eNLC nursing license.
  • A current BLS certification.
