Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical components within machinery and assets at our manufacturing facility, adhering to our reliability strategy and safety protocols.
This role aligns with Kimberly-Clark's commitment to implementing and maintaining World Class Best Maintenance practices on a global scale, applying these standards to safely produce premium products.
The Electrical Technician will diagnose intricate electrical challenges to assist in achieving mill objectives and will support engineering design, troubleshooting, documentation, project installations, and startups.
Additionally, you will serve as a technical mentor to Shift Technicians, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Specific Duties Include:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting advanced electrical equipment issues across various assets, including robotic systems, controllers, servo drives, and temperature control loops.
- Coordinating maintenance and repair schedules with other departments impacted by these activities.
- Providing expert guidance in complex problem-solving and optimization across facility equipment and processes to meet operational goals.
- Mentoring and training Shift Technicians on electrical tasks, offering constructive feedback on their work.
- Interpreting industrial electrical schematics, drawings, and manuals accurately.
- Utilizing SAP to support maintenance functions and maintaining detailed, accurate records.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of daily, weekly, and shutdown activities.
- Participating in cost-effective decision-making regarding labor, parts, and materials.
- Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess an Associate's Degree in Electrical or Industrial Technology with five years of relevant manufacturing electrical experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with seven years of relevant experience.
- Experience with PLCs, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and strong math abilities are essential.
- Ability to model all Safety Requirements, including Electrical Safe Working Practices and Hazard Recognition.
- Adherence to all Quality Requirements, including strict Gowning and Hygiene standards.
- Willingness to maintain a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Ability to pass pre-employment assessments and drug/background screenings.
