Role Overview: The Asset Protection Associate plays a crucial role in safeguarding the retail store's assets by investigating incidents of loss, including merchandise, cash, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Asset Protection Associate, your primary duties will include:

  • Identifying and addressing both internal and external theft incidents.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for safety and security concerns within the assigned stores.
  • Conducting daily store tours to pinpoint vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Maintaining vigilance in high-risk areas to minimize merchandise losses.
  • Evaluating shrinkage best practices and executing strategies to reduce losses during store visits.
  • Analyzing shrink reports and responding to issues and opportunities identified in the stores.

Creating a Secure Shopping Environment:

Your role will also involve:

  • Assisting in the development and communication of company policies and procedures related to safety and security training.
  • Ensuring a safe shopping environment free from theft.

Fostering a Safe Workplace:

In addition, you will:

  • Guarantee that stores are secure for the safety of associates against theft.
  • Support the implementation and communication of safety and security training programs.

Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel between multiple stores.
  • Up to one year of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of applicable criminal laws in various jurisdictions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding investigation-related information.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
