About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Part Time associate to join our team at Lowe's. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service at the register, answering questions and providing a professional experience for customers.
  • Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth checkout process.
  • Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Engage with customers and provide guidance during checkout, showcasing great customer service skills.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.

Requirements
  • 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cashier, salesperson, or retail associate.
  • Ability to identify and sell products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • Customer-focused and goal-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
