Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and bronchoscopy
  • Conduct chest tube placements and other invasive procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • 2 years of experience in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital setting
  • RT license in the state of practice and NBRC certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
