Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at All Ways Caring HomeCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in a home setting. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and education on self-care techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with healthcare teams.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, including scheduling appointments, communicating with healthcare providers, and ensuring seamless transitions between care settings.
  • Document patient progress, outcomes, and any changes in their medical condition, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to healthcare teams.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, industry developments, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Current and unrestricted registration and license in the state of operation.
  • One or more years of nursing experience, preferably in home health care or geriatric care management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop critical thinking skills, research situations, solve complex problems, and deal with a variety of issues.
