We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit team at AdventHealth Ocala. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans to address these needs and promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication. Provide leadership and guidance to other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: At least two years of relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Licensure: Current Florida RN license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
