About the Role:
If you are a compassionate and approachable individual eager to positively impact the lives of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, this role is for you at RHA Health Services.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide assistance to individuals or groups with disabilities in various community-based employment settings, guiding them towards achieving independence in their work tasks and environments. This includes fostering the development of natural supports.

You will aid clients in articulating their requests and needs for services and supports.

In this role, you will implement services and supports that align with the vocational goals and desired outcomes outlined in each individual's Individual Plan of Employment (IPE).

You will work under the supervision and guidance of the Vocational Program Manager.

It is essential to meet basic job requirements, including achieving two job placement milestones monthly or a total of twenty-four annually.


Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals with disabilities in diverse community-based work environments.

- Assist clients in achieving independence in their work tasks and environments, while also helping them identify and communicate their needs for services and supports.

- Implement services and supports to fulfill the vocational goals and desired outcomes as specified in their Individual Plan of Employment (IPE).

- Collaborate closely with the Vocational Program Manager.

- You may accompany clients to their job sites, providing training and support until they stabilize in their roles, often for a minimum of 90 days.

Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work extended hours are crucial for this position.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required;
- Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred;
- Valid driver's license and automotive insurance are necessary;
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening;
- Certifications in CPR, first aid, NCI, and/or role-specific training are advantageous.

Pre-employment Requirements:
- Complete a criminal background check;
- Verification in registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities);
- Drug testing;
- Education verification and other credentialing as per position requirements;
- Proof of employment history or references (if required);

For positions involving driving, proof of a valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle is necessary for providing transportation for individuals.
