Aerial Construction Lineman

Mediacom Communications Corporation is seeking a skilled Aerial Construction Lineman to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and high-quality services.

• Install and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure, including coaxial cables, fiber optic cables, and other equipment.
• Perform construction and maintenance work on utility poles, towers, and other structures.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including bucket trucks, lasher, blocks, pulling grips, stand/cable trailers, cable layers, hoists, bolt cutters, lay-up sticks, and hand lines.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, and be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with other crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and infrastructure.
• Document work completed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience as a CATV construction lineman or completion of a certified apprenticeship program.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment, including bucket trucks, lasher, blocks, pulling grips, stand/cable trailers, cable layers, hoists, bolt cutters, lay-up sticks, and hand lines.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to travel as required.
