Aerial Construction Lineman

Mediacom Communications Corporation is seeking a skilled Aerial Construction Lineman to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

• Install and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure, including coaxial cables and fiber optic lines.
• Perform construction and maintenance activities, such as building and repairing towers, poles, and other structures.
• Operate heavy equipment, such as bucket trucks and aerial lifts, to access and work on high-voltage lines and equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
• Collaborate with other crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and infrastructure.
• Document and report work activities, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in telecommunications construction or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment, including bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and hand tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel and stay out of town for extended periods.
