Job Title: IT Generalist

Delta Dallas is seeking a highly skilled IT Generalist to join our technology support team. As an IT Generalist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our employees, as well as maintaining and configuring computer systems, networks, and security measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Configuration: Set up and maintain computer systems, including installing and configuring hardware and software.
  • Network Management: Maintain networks and network file systems, ensuring systems are operating correctly.
  • Security: Perform security tests and monitoring, and maintain system security.
  • User Management: Add users to a network, assign security permissions, and manage user credentials.
  • Technical Support/Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems, and provide technical support to employees.
  • Performance Optimization: Evaluate and optimize network and system performance.
  • Backup and Storage: Design and implement backup solutions, and manage backup schedules and retention policies.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Understand how to run cloud-based systems, and choose the optimal method for managing networks and servers.
  • Collaboration: Work with other teams to ensure seamless operation of IT systems.
  • Professional Development: Keep up with emerging internet technologies, and participate in educational opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Degree in technology is highly preferred to include systems certifications.
  • 3+ years as a Systems Administrator or IT Generalist in a mid to large company environment.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Previous experience in a data analysis role, particularly in a business or corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with data mining techniques.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Certification in data analytics or a related field.
