Quality Management Director

OU Health seeks a highly skilled Quality Manager to oversee the performance of the Quality Management Program and its compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team to ensure deliverables and performance metrics are met.
- Review and revise the current Quality Management Program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with staff and providers on projects and efforts to maintain the quality program.
- Prepare and submit annual requests for information (RFIs) from all required payers and contracted entities.
- Schedule, prepare, and/or chair meetings pertaining to the TCT Program.
- Complete payroll, staff rounding, and performance reviews for direct reports.
- Coordinate program quality and data management functions in an efficient and cohesive manner.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, finance, and administration on projects.
- Coordinate completion of required initial training, annual competencies, and continual education for the program.
- Perform and monitor internal and external audits, including recognition of trends and implementation of process improvements.
- Research and creation of benchmarks for use within the TCT program.
- Maintain appropriate facility and program accreditations, including coordination of inspections.
- Lead the preparation, maintenance, approval, and publication of all policies and procedures as specifically related to the TCT Program.
- Supervise completion of the TCT Program Annual Report and dissemination to appropriate personnel and leadership.
- Assist physicians and pharmacists with research and evidence-based practice guidelines for the preparation of protocols and pathways.
- Monitor deviations from protocol/pathway use and transplant acceptance criteria, along with any resulting outcomes.
- Research data compilation for various studies and research papers with and for the program's physician group.
- Act as the assigned Authorized Representative (AR) for all commercial cellular therapy companies.
- Assign and monitor education (REMS) compliance.
- Monitor compliance with policies/procedures.
- Perform staff, patient, and caregiver education as necessary.
- Complete all relevant reports for the REMS program.
- Oversee the completion of all relevant audits and inspections.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required.
- Master's level education preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership experience required.
- Experience in a clinical care or related healthcare position.
- BMT/Cellular Therapy and quality experience preferred.
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- BLS upon hire.
- Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong influence skills and ability to motivate others.
- Ability to maintain integrity and trust among leadership and staff.
- Proven ability to manage a team of professionals and lead a departmental function.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated business understanding and ability to balance people/organizational decisions with business considerations.
- Experience using metrics to drive decisions and working with external vendors.
- Must be a strategic thinker, self-motivated, and have excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of clinical healthcare, evidence-based practice, healthcare research, and professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Skill in planning and administering performance improvement activities and using performance improvement methodologies.
- Strong skills in data measurement, analysis, and presentation, with the ability to prepare and analyze reports.
