Position Overview

We are in search of a remarkable Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to become a vital member of our Health Center team, working a full-time schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in shift reports and conduct rounds.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  • Respond promptly to residents' calls for assistance.
  • Support meal services, including tray distribution and assistance with dining.
  • Accurately document residents' daily activities and health records.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and weight upon resident admission.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
  • Provide range of motion exercises as per guidelines.
  • Engage residents in cognitive activities tailored to their needs.
  • Facilitate reminiscence activities for residents.
Qualifications:
  • Valid CNA license in North Carolina and completion of training program.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in geriatric care, particularly with Dementia and Alzheimer's patients, is preferred.
  • Ability to recognize changes in residents' conditions and respond appropriately.
  • Exhibit compassion, patience, and respect when interacting with residents and their families.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CNA responsibilities.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Compensation: Pay starts at $18.30 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus an additional $2.00 shift differential for evening shifts.
