Job Summary

The Unit Clerk is a vital member of our clinical team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. As a Unit Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring timely and efficient access to patient information.
• Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and completing tasks as assigned.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including preparing charts, ordering supplies, and performing other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Basic computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
