Job Summary:

As a Cardiac Stepdown Nurse with Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, utilizing your clinical skills and critical thinking to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care that prioritize patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
• Provide guidance and direction to Nurse Assistants, promoting a culture of teamwork and professional development.
• Facilitate patient education, assessing learning needs and developing tailored teaching plans to meet those needs.
• Effectively communicate patient changes and conditions to colleagues and multidisciplinary caregivers, ensuring a safe and efficient care environment.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or qualified multi-state license required.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Previous experience in acute care preferred but not required; will train new RN graduates.
