Role Summary
This position plays a crucial role in achieving the sales objectives set forth by the agency or specialized department. The focus is on both immediate and long-term strategies for agency expansion, encompassing new business acquisition, cross-selling, customer service excellence, client retention, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies and secures new business opportunities within the designated specialist department.
- Collaborates with agents and/or operations managers to assess and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Conducts underwriting and pricing assessments for new accounts.
- Stays informed about emerging products and initiatives, actively engaging in personal and professional development.
- Proactively gathers expiration dates from prospective clients.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with current clients to enhance agency loyalty.
- Aims to meet production targets and objectives as outlined by the agency leadership.
- Keeps accurate monthly sales records and shares them with the agent and/or operations manager for review.
