We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients are met.
- Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting, performing a variety of patient care duties as delegated.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary patient care team to deliver high-quality care.
- Perform specific duties and responsibilities assigned by supervising physicians, clinical staff, and Practice Coordinators after competency is established.
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Color vision acuity to safely perform job duties.
- RMA or CMA certification within 90 days of employment (if employed at North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic).
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
