Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Sales Leader to join our team at City Market. As a key member of our Grocery Department, you will assist the Department Manager in planning, organizing, and directing associates to maximize store sales and profits safely and ethically.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Department Manager in planning, organizing, and directing Grocery Department associates
- Perform production and customer service functions
- Maximize store sales and profits safely and ethically in accordance with policies and procedures
- Demonstrate company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
Requirements
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to operate power machinery and work with various job tools
- Grocery retail work experience and/or backup manager experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
