This Customer Service Warehouse Specialist position offers competitive compensation ranging from $24 to $26 per hour.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Customer Service Warehouse Specialist, your daily tasks will include:
- Fostering positive customer relationships through courteous and efficient service.
- Creating service quotes and estimates for clients.
- Handling incoming calls and generating service tickets, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Collaborating closely with the residential sales team on pricing and quotes.
- Invoicing for open orders and managing vendor relationships for material sourcing and cost estimation.
- Overseeing open orders and assisting with collections.
- Helping to establish the residential service schedule.
- Assisting with unloading deliveries.
- Conducting annual inventory checks and periodic spot inspections.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in warehouse and office areas.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional communication skills and a polite telephone demeanor.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen attention to detail and the capability to multitask.
- The physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and carry items for a distance of up to 10 feet.
- A strong attendance record and proficiency in both verbal and written English.
- The ability to pass a criminal background check, drug test, and DOT physical.
Applicants should have:
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A minimum of a high school diploma.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, with previous estimating and quoting experience being advantageous.
- A year of experience in a warehouse setting.
