Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at United Hospital Center. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during the procedure.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to develop and implement anesthesia plans.
- Document patient information and anesthesia records accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in pre-anesthetic evaluations, selecting appropriate anesthetic agents and techniques.
- Perform airway management, including insertion of intravenous catheters, invasive monitoring catheters, and endotracheal intubation.
- Manage anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring proper function and availability.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of West Virginia.
- Board Certified or Recertified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
As a CRNA at United Hospital Center, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will be required to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
