About the Role

Sunnyhill, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. As a BCaBA, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans to support individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and other team members to develop behavior intervention plans and general behavioral guidelines.
  • Conduct competency-based training on behavior plans, skill acquisition programming, and other behavior change procedures for behavioral personal care attendants, parents, and other team members.
  • Ensure correct implementation of behavior support plans, skill acquisition programs, and other behavior change procedures through the effective use of data and graphing, direct observations, team consultation, and records review.
  • Recommend and develop program modifications in collaboration with BCBA and other team members as necessary.
  • Assist in analyzing all behavior and skill acquisition data, completing progress notes, and providing monthly reports.
  • Conduct skills assessments to determine programming needs and treatment recommendations.
  • Assist in developing recommendation letters to service coordinators for on-going services.
  • Ensure compliance with statewide policies and procedures through presentation of behavior plans to behavior development committees and human rights committees as applicable.
  • Collect and present data to, as well as, consult with the psychiatrist regarding behavioral progress, to allow informed decisions to be made regarding the effectiveness and necessity of psychotropic medication.
  • Attend client-centered meetings (IEPs, ISPs, FSTs) as appropriate.
  • Consult and coordinate services with other education and health care professionals on an as needed basis.
  • Provide direct supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavioral Personal Assistants (BPA).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education.
  • National Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
  • Licensure as an Assistant Behavior Analyst in the state of Missouri (or meets the eligibility criteria for licensure).
  • Minimum 1 year experience providing services to individuals with autism and/or other developmental disabilities.
