EEG Technician

Children's Health is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team in Dallas, Texas.
About the Role:As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for performing neurodiagnostic EEG procedures under the direct supervision of the Manager or designee. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting EEG recordings according to laboratory standards
- Applying electrodes accurately and efficiently
- Writing patient histories and explaining test procedures to patients and family members
- Troubleshooting equipment problems and reporting to supervisors promptly
- Participating in conferences and technical meetings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of job-related experience
- Experience working in EEG or Epilepsy Monitoring Unit settings is preferred
- High school diploma or GED; additional training beyond high school is required
- Graduate of an Accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent formal training is preferred
