As a Cardiac Electrophysiology Nursing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in shaping patient care standards and enhancing clinical practices across our network.
Key Responsibilities
The nursing supervisor will oversee the operations of the Electrophysiology Lab, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing staffing assignments and ensuring adequate coverage in accordance with departmental goals.
- Coordinating work schedules and monitoring daily staffing needs.
- Conducting interviews and making personnel recommendations regarding promotions and transfers.
- Implementing performance evaluations and setting objectives for team members.
- Facilitating orientation and training for new staff.
- Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and safety protocols.
- Participating in interdepartmental meetings and collaborating with medical staff.
- Monitoring equipment and supply usage to maintain operational efficiency.
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and addressing potential issues proactively.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
- At least three years of experience in an Electrophysiology Lab.
