We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Academic Support Specialists. In this role, you will provide invaluable academic guidance to students in grades 6 through 12, fostering their growth and success.
Responsibilities- Deliver personalized academic support to small groups of students (1-6 per session) across core subjects.
- Provide specialized coaching in mathematics (pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry), American and World Literature, essay writing, and e-portfolio completion.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress within our tutoring database.
- Collaborate with students to build rapport and create a positive learning environment.
- Minimum of one year of experience in teaching, tutoring, or coaching in the areas mentioned above.
- Proven ability to connect with students and foster their motivation and engagement.
- Experience utilizing videoconferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom) and navigating online educational resources.
- High school diploma and a minimum of 90-96 accumulated undergraduate credits.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning and teaching.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
