Acute Care Nursing Environment:

Specialty Areas:
Acute Care Nurses deliver advanced nursing care for patients with complex conditions across various specialties, including:

  • Oncology
  • Neuroscience

  • Acute Rehabilitation
  • Medical-Surgical

Shift Details:
Positions may be available across various shifts, including weekend programs and per diem options. Full-time roles typically involve 36 or 40 hours per week, while part-time positions consist of less than 36 hours per week. Requirements for holidays and weekends will be in accordance with unit and company policies.

Responsibilities:
As an Acute Care Nurse, you will:

  • Develop collaborative and individualized care plans, identifying expected patient outcomes using the nursing process.
  • Prioritize patient care by effectively utilizing available resources in cooperation with ancillary staff and other team members.
  • Exemplify the Network's Service Excellence Standards in all interactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all materials handled within the Network.
  • Adhere to Network and departmental policies concerning attendance and dress code.
